CTMT 2332 - Principles of Computed Tomography 3 semester hour(s) Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0
In-depth coverage of computed tomography imaging techniques. Image quality assurance and radiation protection are emphasized.
Prerequisite: Admission to the CT Advanced Technical Certificate Program and a graduate of a 2-year accredited medical radiography program in ionizing radiation, ARRT certification in Radiography, Radiation Therapy, or Nuclear Medicine. Sectional Anatomy must be taken either as a co-requisite or prerequisite for CTMT 2332 or CTMT 2336 . Co-requisite: CTMT 2336 . Students who do not successfully complete a course with a 75 or higher will be dismissed from the program, must reapply, and must repeat that course. In addition, for any co-requisite in which the student passed, the student must take and pass the final exam with a 75 or higher to progress. Refer to Progress Standards above.
