NCBM 0130 - NCBO BASE Math 1 semester hour(s) Lecture Hours: 1 Lab Hours: 0
The one-hour NCBO supports students in developing skills, strategies, and reasoning needed to succeed in mathematics, including communication and appropriate use of technology. Topics in mathematics such as arithmetic operations, basic algebraic concepts and notation, geometry, and real and complex number systems. This intervention may include a combination of instruction including lecture, online, hybrid, web-enhanced, workshops, and/or TBA to give each student the just-in-time instructional support for success in their developmental course, MATH 0331 , or as a contextualized and/or integrated basic skills instructional support for a Career/Technical Education course. This course does not transfer or apply to graduation.
Prerequisite: Must be college ready in reading and writing according to TSI college-ready standards. Co-requisite: MATH 0331
