Aviation Airframe Maintenance, Certificate Level II

Program to begin Fall 2025 pending approval from Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.

Upon completion of the Level II Workforce Certificate, students will be able to:

• Prepare to take the FAA examination for the Airframe license.
• Demonstrate knowledge of aviation electrical systems.
• Demonstrate knowledge of aviation science.
• Demonstrate the necessary skills for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing auxiliary electrical, hydraulic, and fuel systems for various aircraft.
• Demonstrate knowledge of aviation airframe and powerplant FAA inspection methods.

This certificate can be completed through a mix of face-to-face, hybrid, and online classes. The program is designed to take one year or two semesters and consists of the following courses.
