Patient Care Technician (PCT), Certificate Level I

Patient Care Technician courses offer training, skills, and knowledge needed to provide basic patient care. Students will receive classroom, skills lab, and clinical experience to promote competency as a Nurse Aide, Electrocardiograph (EKG) Technician, and Phlebotomy Technician. Students will assist with activities of daily living including personal care; measure vital signs; assist with positioning and transfers; communicate effectively with patients and their families; and interact effectively as a member of the health care team.
