Substance Abuse Counseling, Certificate Level I

Students who complete the Substance Abuse Counseling, Certificate Level 1 may be eligible to sit for the Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) exam in the state of Texas if they hold a bachelor’s degree in a human services-related field. Additional requirements may include supervised practicum hours and passing a criminal background check.
