* A grade of “C” or better is required for all course work for transfer to university of your choice.
*Students must pass a background check prior to participating in the P-12 classroom field experience, a required component of these courses. The instructor will provide information on completing the background check. If the student does not pass the background check, it is the student’s responsibility to withdraw from the course with no refund given.
* Students enrolled in the Texas 2-Step Program need to take GEOG 1301 - Physical Geography as their Social Behavioral Science Elective course.
*Students enrolled in the TechTeach program (partnership with Texas Tech University) have additional course requirements: Additional Creative Arts Elective (select from Core Curriculum list), PSYC 2301 - General Psychology or PSYC 2314 - Lifespan Growth and Development and 2 years of high school or 2 semesters of college of foreign lanuguage or successful CLEP exam. Students should consult with an advisor when selecting courses for this program.
