Agricultural Science, Certificate Level I

The Agricultural Science Certificate Level I program is a one-year program (31-32 credit hours) designed to introduce students to key areas of the agriculture industry through both classroom instruction and hands-on training Students complete coursework in animal science, plant science, agricultural economics, and introductory agribusiness, along with practical training in agricultural construction and welding. This certificate prepares students for entry-level employment in a variety of agricultural settings and serves as a foundation for continuing into the Associate of Science in Agriculture degree.
