Craftsman, Certificate Level I


The goals of the Craftsman Certificate Level I is to provide students with the general knowledge and basic skills for internal and external construction of a home. Students will learn basics in framing, plumbing, electrical, roofing, cabinetry, drywall, painting and finish work, etc. that will be used in the construction of a tiny home and on job site training while in the program.

Gainful Employment

The US Department of Education requires colleges to disclose a variety of information for any financial aid eligible program that “prepares students for gainful employment in a recognized occupation.” Howard College is committed to creating an educated workforce by offering occupational programs that lead to gainful employment.
