MATH 0331 - Beginning Algebra 3 semester hours 3 hours lecture, 1 hour lab
This course is designed for students requiring instruction in basic algebraic concepts and notation. Topics may include but are not limited to a review of basic math skills needed for algebra, the real number system, and algebraic expressions; linear equations and inequalities in one and two variables; coordinate graphing, and exponent rules. This course may be offered in different formats: computer-based classroom, lecture, hybrid/blended, or online. Includes a one-hour weekly independent lab. A grade of “C” or better must be achieved to advance to the next level, MATH 0332 . This course does not transfer or apply towards graduation.
