MATH 1442 - Elementary Statistical Methods 4 semester hours 3 hours lecture, 4 hours lab
Collection, analysis, presentation and interpretation of data, and probability. Analysis includes descriptive statistics, correlation and regression, confidence intervals and hypothesis testing. Use of appropriate technology is recommended.
Prerequisite: Two years high school algebra or above and score of 80 on ACCUPLACER; if a student scores between 63 and 79, Co-requisite: There is a co-requisite of MATH 0101 .
