SGNL 1302 - Beginning American Sign Language II 3 semester hours 3 hours lecture, 1 hour lab
This course is a continuation of SGNL 1301 . Develops receptive and expressive ability and allows recognition and demonstration of more sophisticated grammatical features of American Sign Language (ASL). Increases fluency and accuracy in finger spelling and numbers.
Prerequisite: SGNL 1301 with a grade of “B” or better or the equivalent as demonstrated by performance on the ASL evaluation and ENGL 0320 or ENGL 0315 and ENGL 0301 or ENGL 0315 with a grade of “C” or better or with permission from instructor.
