SGNL 1302 - Beginning American Sign Language II

3 hours lecture, 1 hour lab

This course is a continuation of SGNL 1301. Develops receptive and expressive ability and allows recognition and demonstration of more sophisticated grammatical features of American Sign Language (ASL). Increases fluency and accuracy in finger spelling and numbers.

Prerequisite: SGNL 1301 with a grade of “B” or better or the equivalent as demonstrated by performance on the ASL evaluation and ENGL 0320 or ENGL 0315 and ENGL 0301 or ENGL 0315 with a grade of “C” or better or with permission from instructor.
